Rosehip Cottage is beautifully decorated and well furnished. It is detached and situated in an elevated position in a quiet road in Hunter’s Quay,  Dunoon a short distance from Marine Parade and has sea views.  The property has a large sitting room with a dining area at one end with patio doors leading to the garden which guests are welcome to use.  There is a large hall with light oak floor, three double bedrooms (one double bedded and two twins), a bathroom with bath, well equipped kitchen with sea views and a utility room.

Rosehip Cottage can be reached from Glasgow Airport in approximately 45 minutes by car and guests usually arrive via the ferry which departs from Gourock and crosses the Firth of Clyde, a lovely atmospheric start to a holiday. There are many local activities, golf, swimming, clay pigeon shooting, sailing, fishing and quad biking to name but a few. Dunoon itself is the home of the Cowal Highland Gathering. The area is rich in Scottish History, the scenery beautiful and trips can be taken to the Benmore Botanical Gardens with their amazing trees, Wemyss Bay, Bute.

A Good Housekeeping Deposit of £150 is required.

A Deposit of 30% of the Hire Charge will secure the booking

The kitchen is bright, cheerful and very well equipped with fridge, cooker and microwave and sea view.

Living Room

The living room is a large attractive room, light and well furnished with two leather sofas, television and original paintings by the owner of the cottage, Peter Wilkinson, a local artist. At one end of the room is a dining area with an attractive table and chairs and doors leading to the garden.
